| raving over whatever Johnny-come-lately model gets released and in general fawn over anything BMW makes, for good reason, but also to a fault. The following year the very same car gets trashed for all sorts of nitpicking. Until I get a chance to take a spin in an M2, I'm not going to just take these people's word that it is "THE" M car. Having driven an M235i with a few bolt on M-goodies, it was already a pretty badass car capable of hanging with or outperforming prior M3's and certainly much better looking than the 1M IMHO.
